Modern Development Location
Located in IBP of Changning District of Shanghai, close proximity to the Hongqiao Transportation Hub, Bosch China headquarters covers an area of 28600 square meters. The result of a total investment of some 110 million euros, the building also provides extensive R&D facilities and a training center.
Sustainable Location
The new Bosch China headquarters also features state-of the art resource-conserving and energy-efficient building technologies. Many of these are Bosch products, such as a geothermal system for cooling and heating, a photovoltaic system, and a solar thermal system for water heating. Saving some 2,000 metric tons of CO2 and 7,000 megawatt hours of electricity per year.
With many energy efficient technologies applied, Bosch China headquarters was awarded “Shanghai Energy Saving Model Unit Awards” by Shanghai Energy Saving Bureau and granted “Shanghai Energy Saving Model Unit Award” by MOHURD.
Living and Working
Designed mainly by a Bosch team from Germany, the modern headquarters also features Chinese elements. The modular concept and metal colors on the wall highlight the modern feeling, while softness is reflected by a calm pool and green bamboo.

The comfortable environment, warm care and professional guidance from the Bosch clinic make associates feel looked after and secure. The clinic covers an area of 150 square meters with an emergency room, a mother room and a small lobby.
